Meet Barb Popp

Direct, practical clinical education from someone who has done the work.

Barb Popp is an Occupational Therapist and Accredited Hand Therapist with more than three decades of clinical experience. She graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from the University of Queensland in 1992 and later founded Upper Limbs & Beyond, a specialist hand therapy private practice in Mackay, Queensland. Her background spans hand therapy, work rehabilitation, regional public hospital practice and paediatrics. Her mentoring style is direct, supportive and grounded in real clinical practice — there is usually a way forward, but it takes curiosity, accountability and clear thinking.
